Hi! We are Julie and Charlie Majer, wife and husband with a lifelong passion for sewing, altering and tailoring. We have been in this industry for more than 30 years so bring a wealth of experience in alteration and production.

Do I need an appointment to get my clothes altered?
No, an appointment is not required for any alterations.
How long does a fitting take?
Usually 5-10 minutes, but when more intricate alterations are needed a fitting can take up to 30 minutes.
How long will my alteration take?
We are a customer orientated business, therefore we try our best to meet your requirements. Usually it takes 2-4 days due to high demand, but we can provide a same day service for urgent cases, and we will always try to work with you if you have a deadline you need to meet. Just pop in or give us a call to discuss.
Our Mission
At Sew Can We our focus is always on our clients, no customer is left unsatisfied with our service. We can make a stressed bride feel like a queen on the big day, get ready teenagers for their prom, give some extra confidence to a businessman or businesswoman to own the whole meeting room, make work uniforms comfortable or simply give a second chance to the pieces that aren’t that exciting anymore. The possible tasks that could be done with us are limitless.
giving something back to the community
We have been raised by the idea of if you have more than you need build a bigger table – not a higher fence and our beloved parents did a fairly good job with us. We’ve learnt the lesson – so we did our research and picked a charity to support with our day to day work.
Unfortunately, heart and cardiovascular diseases are well known in our family therefore we’ve found convenient to help and support as much as we can the British Heart Foundation.
